I have more of a plea to post right now. I don't care if it's on my blog that no one reads, well, maybe my family, hell if I know.



Dear Mike Birbiglia,

Please, do a freaking show in Seattle!! All of your shows on the lists you send out are on the east coast. Every time I check your website for any changes in your tour, all my hopes are shredded to pieces. (Thanks by the way)

In fact, I wouldn't have even mentioned this a plea if you wouldn't have posted a video on YouTube saying that you'd get e-mail notifications when people talk about or mention your name.

Well, I'm mentioning your name now. MIKE BIRBIGLIA!! Do a show in Seattle! I've already tried spreading you around (your Cd's, not your body)to other people knowing they would enjoy you (your jokes, once again, not your body... although some may, I don't know).

So what if you're awkward. Really, that's what makes it so great! I love you (in a totally platonic way, sorry). I love your jokes. I love the way their delivered. You are probably my favorite comedian of all time. I've tried to find some good ones, but they all talk about stupid stuff like men, race, politics, their own asses. I don't know, by the time they get there I stop listening.

I love some others, don't get me wrong, but you rank higher to me then Stephen Lynch, Daniel Tosh, and way above Nick Swardson. In fact, after listening to you, I forgot why I ever thought Dane Cook was funny. (sure he has his moments, but I love him more as the comedic relief in movies.)

Two of those people I mentioned came to Seattle and I bought tickets for both (went to one, the other was a gift).

So please... come to Seattle... If not because I begged you to, then because I can spell and pronounce your last name right.
