Dim Tests and Ruined Days

PLEASE, for all that's pure, if you have a test, use it to assess what the student has learned from your lessons!! Don't just pull questions out of thin air just to make us get it wrong. We don't take the class to be tested higher than what we're learning, we take the damn class to learn something and reassure our learning. That's it. No strings attached. No adding 7 million questions and requests that don't correlate with the teaching material.

I just took a really really really really stupid excel exam, and I pretty much failed it because there was no way we learned any of that material during our tutorials and review assignments. And even on the review assignments, the reviews include things we haven’t learned yet.

Anyway, I was so frustrated I cried. Not full blown crying, but tears in the eyes and steam fuming from my ears. If you didn’t know, that’s what happens when I’m soooo angry and I can’t do anything about it. I hate not being able to say something. It must be in my blood.

Just feel lucky you weren’t here to experience that scene. Poor Craig, he had to take the burden of that anger and help me with the practical part of my test.

*Sigh* I was going to make this post happy b/c I was in a good mood for most of the day, but I can’t do it anymore.. It took me 4 hours to do the damned test. That and I got held late on a long call where the customer hung up anyway… but I stayed 30minutes overtime. Ick.

I did make an appointment for my hair to get dyed this Saturday at 3:00pm (pacific time).  So, I can’t chicken out!!! I hope I like it.

Anyway, I need to read. Editing’s going to need to wait until tomorrow. I’m way too frustrated to think clearly. I’d probably kill off all my people and ruin the story and my future with this series.

 Later gator.
