gaaah! I hate religious posts on Facebook. I don't tell you that you need to stop being sucked in to the religious organizations because they're just drying you of your money, time, and effort. Why do I need to hear some bible verse? Should I start quoting my books? So they may teach morals... That's great... but can't we teach our own family those morals that the church has teachings about? Can't we be responsible for those messages being upheld and passed on?Or is it secret stuff that only they know and only the privileged get to find out what these super secret morals and good stuff is?!
Most religious people aren't even religious for the right reasons!! It's a: Well.. if I die.. I'll be saved. Bullshit. Here's a tip. When you die... you get buried 6 feet under the ground or cremated so you can be spread across the ocean or sit on top of a mantel at some wack-job family member's house where they can ignore you, but accept you because you're in a pretty vase.
To me, religion is bullshit. It's just a waste of everything. Resources, money, mind, body, etc etc. You don't have to go to church every Sunday or Wednesday or third Friday of every month.. or WHATEVER! You don't have to spread the word of "god" to everyone you know. Which is what you're doing if you post it on FB.. It makes me uncomfortable. Thanks for making me uncomfortable. I try very hard not to say anything to anyone or push my views on them, so why the hell do you get the right to do that to me!?!?! I don't want to hear it. I "tried" religion. I even tried just believing in "god" but it's not for me. I found it to be a waste of talent and energy. I was more hateful and prejudice and I didn't like myself.Someone posted on their status: "Spiritualism is a self centered, egotistical excuse not to be a part of something that requires something of you" It was said by someone in their church..... ...... ........ ...... WOW... How hateful of a message. Basically... if you don't join a church, you're a douche-waffle. You think that you are more important than the average Joe. I (as the speaker or someone who goes to a church) am better than you because a lot of people see me attend church. Do you? Didn't think so you d-bag. .. .... ..... To be honest, I have more respect for someone who is more in touch with their body, spirit, mind, nature than someone who is (insert organized religion here). Here's what happens when I meet someone.. or find out their religious:
-we exchange hello's: Well.... they can't be too bad
-they go to church: ohhh greeat. If I try to get recruited I'm going to shoot myself in the foot. AND: Wow..... well, there goes the hope we could be great friends. AND I lose a lot of pre-knowing respect.
Sure, maybe after time, we're able to be friends. Once they realize that I'm a lost cause. If someone says they are a believer but don't go to church, they just practice on their own... Well then I know they're not the pushy type. They might be a little weird at times, but I can handle weird. And the pre-knowing respect for them doesn't plummet like it would an organized religion person.
To me, the more reasonable outlook would be Buddhism. I can see "coming back" in a different form, probably within the same species before I would believe that there's this overpopulated heaven where you go after you die. Recycling the essence of someone sounds more believable then some mystical 30 ft man that lives in the clouds and was like... "hmmm I know what I want for my birthday!!! PEOPLE! And not just any people. I want people who will worship me." He sounds like a self-centered woman who opens her legs to get the love she craves from a baby. No matter whether that kid will lead a good life based on her preparations.
Organized religion also demonize natural things like sex and promiscuity while raising those that go against the biological makeup of most everyone!! Like marriage. They refuse to let two people who love and care and trust each other to get married. They promote violence before love and acceptance. They repress genders. They are pushy as hell in trying to "recruit" people to the church.... aka.. the head of the church has dollar signs in his eyes for every person that "needs saving". They have people in leadership positions taking advantage of children. CHILDREN!! And they're getting away with it! Kids are being registered as sex offenders for taking pictures of or having sexual relations with those that are of the same age!! why aren't these people in religion being registered? Why aren't they getting jail time?
So please, tell me why I shouldn't be offended by those that spread the kind of disease and filth these crack-pot people are hiding behind. The "demons" that come over them and possess them to do horrible things to beings that aren't aware of what to do in that situation because their parents rely on the church to teach them their morals. Wanna know what those demons are? Because I've got the answer! They're the organized religions that make sexual conduct to be something bad. Masturbation, pre-marital sex, sex without the purpose to procreate, prostitution are just a few that are being brought down to look "evil" and acts of "demon possession". There is NOTHING wrong with any of those things. NOTHING! So claiming a "demon" possessed you to molest a child, you're a coward. I mean really? Did a demon possess you 600 times? If you really cared about anything, you'd lock yourself in a mental institute or jail. Because that's where you should be. Either drugged up talking about your religion, or being raped in jail.
So... fyi.. if you post religious things on your FB daily.. I will more than likely delete you as a friend. You're subjecting me to something I don't want in my life. blah blah blah. foaijwe;dfkja;dfjkw;asjv;d
