andersen reunion

I'm really excited actually to go to the Andersen reunion in July. I don't know why. I won't know anyone really. Maybe it's because we get to do a little bit of the 101 freeway stretch on the way up? Or maybe it's because I get to spend so much more time with Angela!!! or... because I'm trying to get people to have free photo shoot sessions :D. I just look at that and think... wow.. That would be awesome to have a marathon photo shoot!!!

Or it could be because I can introduce Craig to that side of the family as the "husband" (ew.. lol). 

Maybe it's because of all those combined.

I just hope there's no other photographer at the reunion... lol. Because I'm screwed then :D

-Find something to get rid of awesome acne: I've been using baby wipes.. it's working so far!
-Out of Town Guest bags: when my mom gets in! we'll do it :)
-Ceremony Programs: not doing. We don't need it.. my demo said.. "ceremony start--get hitched--dismissed" lol.. so no need.

-Get my guest-book made: DONE!
-Get official "change your name" documents: DONE! still need to send it in afterwards.
-Find Something old, new, blue, and borrowed: Old-DONE, new-DONE, blue-DONE, borrowed... not done.

-Apply for scholarships to go back to school: no longer going to school. starting photography instead!

uggggghhh

I tried signing up for a website... or at least a host for hosting a domain... and then I tried them out... and haaaated their site builder. So I tried transferring it to another one host... but it's like a... it's like transferring your cable services to another provider. There's all these stupid rules and regulations.

So 1&1 was the first one I did. damn I wish I didn't. Their site builder sucks. Maybe it's because I'm crazy.. but yeah, didn't like them. So I switched over to BlueHost that was recommended by the template company I got my template from. And I swear, I've been working on this for a total of 5 hours last night and this morning and I'm about ready to pull out my hair.

1&1 needed me to cancel my account. and package. and give them my first born. Before I could "transfer" over to the other place.. Okay.. did that.

BlueHost says.. Ohhhhh no, you have to wait 60 effing days before you can transfer that over! Even though before I told you that some hosts allow you to cancel at any time before 5 days of having their "hosting" services.... Okay... sweet... 1&1 allowed me to do that... now I'll just go "transfer" it to you.

What? No?

How about Register? Because it's not still a domain...

Oh really? No.. it's taken? dfij awe;fijsdl;k fja;kjf;iawejtg fkgfkjgae;fjd Maybe that could be because the stupid 1&1 hasn't dropped it yet. ugggggggghhhh

So if anyone knows how to solve this freaking problem, and after they solve that problem, figure out how to download this stupid template!!!! I want it for blog & website. And I've seen it done! Even though it says just for blog, it's also for the website... okay... sorry...

I need help.

Trying to find a new job... it's soo freaking hard. I wish I could just quit. Sometimes I wish they would do "lay offs" or that I would get preggers so there was at least an end in sight... but no such luck for me.

I want to start getting paid for photography by 2011. I need people to do the free stuff. I really really really want a new camera or new lens, but I can't really get another one until I start getting paid

I need to sign up the business. Pay all the fines. Get a Website going. and get a client base going.

On another thought, Craig and I need to go to a Financial Advisor. I need to double check with Craig to make sure when. But I really want to talk to them to see which way we need to go about the business. And if we are in an okay spot to buy our first house. Not our "kid house" but our "first house" so we can stop feeling soo trapped in our 1bd 1br apt. There's a lot from 100-300k that are decent for a first home that we can definitely afford and save money. We don't really want our dream home, and we don't really want to do any upgrades, just live there. I mean... we might be able to replace or remove the carpets, or do cabinets or counters too. I dunno.

All while trying to plan a wedding for next weekend :D I don't like NOT doing anything huh? I think I need a massage to relax.

Well... more of, I don't want to annoy my BFF. She just got a new job that lets her use her brain and I feel like if I kept bugging her with this kind of stuff she'd smarten up and go away. That, and I didn't want to bug her with things that don't mean much to anyone but me! :D

Hey! I have a blog for that! Here's what I need to get out of the system today.

• 23 days!! so weird to think of it so close.
• I started whitening my teeth this morning. Thought it would be good to start doing that before it's extremely too late.
• My pictures I'm editing of my cousins are coming out really great. :)
• I want a new camera... shhh! I'm thinking a T1 or something like that.
• I also want an external hard-drive to save my pictures on "just in case"
• maybe 2 external hard-drive
• 23 days!!!
• I made a business card for my photography business :) "Amber Deitering Photography" yeah, it may be a little presumptuous, but I have 23 days until I become a Mrs.... weird.
• Holy crap... I'll be a Mrs.! aah!
• lol.
• I wish I wasn't working
• Actually, I wish I just didn't have to work here. It's too far away, and it's really annoying to get to
• OOh! I did stop coming in at 4:00am though! I start at my normal time.. don't take a lunch and leave 30 minutes before the normal time... I feel better already, even though it's only my 2nd day.
• I should really start doing push-ups before and after bed so I can get my sexy clavicles :D
• OoO! I get to use my new hair straightener tomorrow! The one I got a couple weeks ago for $12 was absolutely worthless. The one I got yesterday was a "professional" one... $50.. it better work. And it's pink. The black and the white one were more expensive :(.
• I'm really excited to see family again.
• Though... I think we've seen enough family to last us through Thanksgiving! lol. So we're probably staying down here for that fun stuff. Our first "family Thanksgiving".. maybe we'll invite friends over or something.
• I uploaded pictures of our kitties on FB last night! I dunno why, I just don't like doing all those picture things.
• I take horrible pictures. Holy cow... Holly has her work cut out for her at my wedding. My face gets pudgy if I try to look cute. hahaha. Craig agrees!!! Which actually makes me happy, because I thought it was just me.. And it means he's being honest with me :D
• I want to go to a dude ranch.
• Why do people think I'm crazy when I say I want horses and a fancy barn to hold weddings in? The only good things around here are in Sacramento or Tahoe, or wine country. Not in my area. I guess there are golf courses, but they're really weird. I'm just trying to make a way to earn some kind of living while being at home with the kiddlets.
• Pizza Pringles aren't what they used to be.

I freak out a lot

Let's start off by saying... holy moly this past weekend was insane.

Thursday:
     Arrive in Seattle around 10ish. (waaay past bedtime)
     Got used to sleeping on a California King Size bed..... uh oh.
Friday:
     Final Dress Fitting at 10:30...
     photoshoot of my aunt and 5 cousins...
     rehearsal and setup at my brother's wedding (also time for me to check out the layout and
            plan for the next day's work.
Saturday:
     Take getting ready photos at the bride's house...
     brother gets married, I become paparazzi... or whatever. 
     I get a new sister....
     Found out someone was pregnant (due my wedding month)
     Found out someone was married (part of same family from above... brother/sister thing)
     Craig and I go to see his friends and meet the new girlfriend...
     I drink just a tad too much.
Sunday:
     Finally! Rest. sort of.
     2pm I have my bridal shower :D yay!
     Found out someone else was pregnant!!! eeeeeeeek
     Then Craig goes to the Sounders Game (they won)
     I go over to my mom's house and hang out with my Aunt and cousins some more.
     Puppy, Sammy, Jonathan and I go to The Rock and eat nummy breadsticks and meeehhhh
              pizza.
     I scan in about 300 photos of Craig and I, and only 200 made it on to the flash drive... weird.
Monday:
     Final Final Dress Fitting (had to make sure of the length
     download and save all the pictures I took over the weekend
     Call some last minute non-RSVPers
     Wait at the airport forrrrever! Then go home. :D
     Appreciated that Craig takes things slow and plans them out before jumping in to something
          that'll take up 18 years of our life and/or waste all our money ;). Just couldn't imagine it any
         other way.
Tuesday Morning:
     Scoot closer to Craig on our tiny bed because Isis was taking up a lot of room
     Slight freak out about wedding stuff.

And that's what we did!

But I had just noticed how much stock I was putting in to my brother's wedding. not like, expectations or anything. More like... We've got time, Justin's wedding is before ours.... Yeah, it was before ours, but now it's over, and there's nothing blocking the view of our stressful day.

So, this morning, I officially realized it was coming up... And I started getting nervous.

Not only do I have to do wedding plans, I have to do  photo editing for the wedding and the cousins photoshoot. I told them 2 weeks. Which was probably really stupid. Because now I have 2 weeks to edit all the pics on my 4gb and 8gb memory cards.... And plan the rest of the wedding, and do all the last minute projects that have to wait until the last minute. I don't know what I was thinking.

34 days! :D

According to the banner at the top of the page, it says 1 months and 3 days left on my countdown...

NEW KINDLE!

Craig finally agreed to buy an e-reader. And after many many hours of research, we decided on a Kindle 2....

This is our Kindle 2:

We're never going to open it. The day before we received it, Amazon came out with a new version!!! So, we decided to return it, and pre-order !!2!! of the new version Kindle. We should get it the week of our wedding. An unexpected, unplanned, and wicked awesome wedding gift for the both of us :D I'm just excited that I can choose my own decal now!
